On October 14, 2021, the participants of the project One Way Ticket No More kicked off their fact-finding mission on civic centers with Prof. Dr. Eckart Stratenschulte who has been working in civic centers for over 30 years, amongst others, he was the director of the European Academy Berlin. Stratenschulte and the activists from the Western Balkans discussed the history, tasks, and goals of civic centers in Germany and Europe. The activists will continue their dialogue with protagonists of the civic center scene in Europe, also in the framework of the One Way Ticket No More Conference at the end of November.
